Prior to entering the title insurance industry, David worked in private practice at a law firm that focused on matters of residential and commercial real estate. Once he entered the industry, David spent a decade as a Triangle Area Manager and State Counsel for two national title underwriters. In 2005, David founded Metro Title.

David and his wife reside in Raleigh, alongside their two dogs, Blue and Buddy. He has two sons currently attending college.

Laura is a Title Counsel for the Underwriting team in Raleigh, North Carolina. She began her real estate career as a paralegal, graduating from the Meredith College Paralegal Program in 1984.  Laura worked as a paralegal for nine years before returning to law school and receiving her JD from North Carolina Central University in 1993.  She was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1994 and practiced real estate in the Raleigh area until joining the Company in 2012 as Title Counsel.

After graduating, Laura worked in private practice for several years. She retired from private practice so she could raise her daughter. Later, Laura started working again as a commercial and residential underwriter. She lives in Raleigh with her husband, daughter, and eight-year-old beagle, Buddy.
